This year, in the lead up to our 2026 Shout, we’re introducing a new community-focused initiative aimed at local children aged 5-10 years of age. Children will attend a one-day workshop at The Edward Hain Centre during the summer holidays to learn traditional Cornish/Maritime songs. Rehearsals will follow in September/October with a preview concert at a local residential care home followed by a performance at the Shanty Shout on Saturday 20th November 2026 in St Ia Church.

 

The workshops will be led by led by an experienced singer/workshop leader.
