About St Ives

Shanty Shout

St Ives Shanty Shout is organised in collaboration with the Edward Hain Centre.

St Ives Shanty Shout was started in 2016 by members of Bamaluz Bootleggers. They invited some friends to come and sing with them and raise some money for a good cause.

Bamaluz Bootleggers might not sing together anymore and venues have come and gone along the way, but the core idea proved to be very popular and is now an annual event.

Our charity partner is the Edward Hain Centre (Charity Number: 1200936) who support health and wellbeing in St Ives

Groups - 2026

Over 30 groups are registered for our 10th St Ives Shanty Shout.

We're delighted that, once again, this included Kimber's Men.
