The 2020 Shanty Shout was cancelled.
In 2021 we opted to support the local businesses.
Penhaligon’s Friends
For 2019, we have chose the Cornish charity Penhaligon’s Friends who support bereaved children, young people, parents and carers throughout the county. We raised £2353.01
Louise, from the host group Bamaluz Booteggers, says "after the death of my sister, to whom my children were extremely close, the charity was so helpful and caring that it really helped them to cope. They understand how to support young, bereaved children at a time when those closest to them are struggling to cope themselves. It is a very worthwhile, local charity we are proud to get behind."

Cornwall Air Ambulance
For 2018, we shook our buckets in aid of Cornwall Air Ambulance (charity number 1133295) for their New Heli Appeal raising £1627.78
Cornwall Air Ambulance flies more than 800 lifesaving missions each year throughout Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. Their New Heli Appeal aims to bring a next generation air ambulance helicopter by 1 April 2020.
Children's Hospice South West
Children's Hospice South West was our Charity for our 1st Shanty Shout in 2016 and was also our joint charity for our 2nd Shanty Shout in 2017.
Making the most of short and precious lives...
